Non fiction means its a factual book. Non Fiction books are a great learning resource. Weather you want to find out more about a subject of interest or learn about a completely new subject or maybe you need some help with your homework - there are books about everything!



Here are some of my favourite non fiction books.

Homage to Catalonia - George Orwell
Autobiographical account by George Orwell of his experience as a volunteer for the Republicans in the Spanish Civil War, published in 1938.

The Diary of a young girl - Anne Frank - The extremely moving diary of a teenage Jewish girl Anne Frank's written in an warehouse in Amsterdam where Anne and her family and friends hid from the Nazis for 2 years.

The Oxford First Encyclopedia - a guide for young children of today - covers topics they will encounter in early days of school and children's interests.
